About
Iain Macdonald has taught philosophy at the Université de Montréal since 2001. His work is situated at the intersection of epistemology, metaphysics, and ethics: questions of possibility, normativity, and rationality are at the heart of his most recent publications. Of late he has been most focussed on Hegel, Heidegger, and Adorno (the Bermuda Triangle of German philosophy), with Derrida and Rancière as additional authors of interest.
Iain Macdonald is also the current president of the Canadian Society for Continental Philosophy.
