About
I have been a Family Physician since 1983 and practiced in France till late 2008. I'm currently (since early 2009) a guest researcher at the U de Montréal. I'm working on the Ethics of Medical Training and the information given to the public on Health Issues.
I'm also a fiction and non fiction writer under the pen name "Martin Winckler". One of my novels, 'The Case of Dr Sachs' has been translated in English by Linda Asher (Seven Stories Press, New York, NY, 2000)
I have published 40-odd books on various subjects, including patient-doctor relationship, Television medical drama and Women's health.
